Rules for Trolls and Morans

Today this blog reached a milestone, our first troll !  Let's have a look at the high caliber or citizen who thinks teachers are overpaid and need to have their unions busted:

Sean, your a tool, teachers are over payed morons, time to bust your pathetic union!

Naturally the usual suspects who may have wandered across the Beringean land bridge from the B-Lo News come to mind but that's to be expected. Then again it may be a former Principal or even one of my kids. Dad ? I thought you said we'd be doing stuff all summer since you weaseled out of summer school ? You're just going to sit at the stupid computer.

Either or here's the best I could offer in response :

Well troll, let's do a little analysis of your dizzying intellectual output shall we ? You managed to ejaculate a grand total of ONE word before committing a 4th grader's error. The correct form you are shooting for here would be "you're" the contraction of you and are which uses an apostrophe to hold the space for the a that was removed in the combining of the two words. You follow up with a comma where you might have used a period since the word tool completes an entire thought. Allegedly. You managed to get out two more entire words, respect really, before blowing it again on the devilish spelling of "overpaid." Not sure what your native tongue is but here in America we tend to go with the -aid for the terminal more than, say gluing -ed to the end of the word and hoping it stays. Major props for not spelling it "morans" as the famous Teabagger meme of the 08 election has immortalized himself in full mullet, bandana and banana hammock cut off shorts. Again the killshot is a little iffy, are you going to bust my pathetic union? Do you think you can do what James Williams and 6 whole years failed to do? Do tell, I can't wait to hear who you are and what your Scot Walkerian manifesto looks like....p.s. I let this go because your inability to communicate in the host language speaks more loudly to your ignorance than any rebuttal I could dream up. In the future, unless you are always this gifted in making a complete ass of yourself in writing, your remarks will be deleted unless you log on with twitter or facebook or something linked to prove who you are. If everybody gets to know who I am, they sure as shit are going to know who you are too. That's called holding you to the same standards I live by. I hope you have the stones to handle it but it's a safe bet you'll disappear.

  4. Well, if he went to a BPS, maybe he's right; given his atrocious grammar. Every single teacher of his failed to educate him on "your" and "you're". I'm sure (s)he would probably miss the swing on "there","they're", and "their".

  8. WNY Liberal first off I have to answer the point about abstaining being akin to voting for Romney. Not really an unfair way to look at it. I railed when Ralph Nader ju mped in because it was obvious whose votes he was going to steal. IO feel like it's a choice between KMart and WalMart, they both suck but I am trying to calculate a liveable degree of suck. As my wife's Republican cousin once told me he was going to look at them both then hold his nose and vote for W. Bush -- Again. The backlash I caught was surprising to me I think because a lot of people are seing what can happen in Wisconsin and the Dems simply have nothing for it. Reality dictates they are all ready sweating the money Romney can funnel from Shelly Adelson and the Kochs for starters. I think Adelson said he'd easily commit 100 million to make sure Obama does not get re-elected. On one hand I feel their pain on the other you don't hand over Poland to Hitler and hope for a better day or for the dictator to be sated with a little whiff. They ran like chickenshits because they were counting pennies while Kocks were scratching checks. wasserman Shultz then came on tv and asserted that this was in no way a predictor of what the Citizen's United ruling will bring to the November election. Sometimes people are too stupid to vote for or too inept. This party simply fails on all levels. But yeah given a decent reason educationally speaking to vote for Obama I'd love to, just not counting on it.

    1. You've got to move this comment over to the right blog entry :)

I hear you. I think a lot of people initially voted for Obama, thinking he was this "Extreme Left Liberal", and failed to take into account his voting record.

He is at best, a slightly left leaning centrist. Romney, basically boils down to a slightly right leaning centrist. There's about 1" separating them, in reality.

The problem for me, however, in abstaining, is that Romney is more apt to just sign anything handed to him, just like Grover Norquist told the GOP convention: "We need someone to just sign everything we give to him", and that is exactly what Romney has shown to be. A monkey with a pen. Obama at least threatens veto (Even if he never uses it).

    2. It has been clear that Obama is "owned" by Wall Street and is a puppet for them since the DNC in 2004 when he spoke. The Obama Bandwagon was pretty gross in 2008 and I got into lots of "discussions" with fellow teachers about who would be better--Obama or H. Clinton. I still contend that Hillary would have been the better choice back then. I was astounded at the numbers of so-called liberals who threw their weight and votes behind Obama over Hillary. Especially teachers. It was SO F-ING OBVIOUS that he was a charter school darling (and lover) and an enemy (I know it is a strong word, but I feel it is true) of teachers and unions. I mean, for gods sake, he sends his kids to the most swank private school in the DC area! And, yes, I know that the Clintons sent their daughter to be educated swankly as well, but Hillary wasn't chirping about merit pay and charter schools. Obama was.

He will again not get my vote. I will again vote Socialist.

    3. I have always been against not voting. The way I am seeing this election is I know what Obama is going to do based on what he's done all ready. Education is some poor stepchild politicians like to pat on the head when there's a camera around. How man hacks go from doing their sentence on a Board of Ed to en elected position ? I dunno Chris Jacobs how many? We survived 8 years of Bush's misrule so we know how to do it. You just have to lock in your opposition radar and fight however you can. I think I am ready to do it again if it means showing these pompous ass Dumbocrats that they better stop taking labor for granted and fucking us over as soon as the votes are counted. It's like being willing to go to prison for your beliefs. I know how to do the Bush regime and Romney is going to be the same damned thing. And come to think of it. Obama is too if you're a teacher so why give him your vote ?

  9. Chalk thanks for your patience. I had to go to moderating the remarks when someone using his roadrunner commercial account at work sent me about 5 ad hominem misses cause they failed to hit anything. I had just turned on the little sitemeter feature on the top right too that tracks all the IP addresses of anyone who leaves a comment. I am not sure of I want to sub contract the job to a geek friend or track the source of the IP myself. It's a pretty hilarious feeling when you bust someone throwing f bombs at you on work tiime from their work computer. Like knowing in the morning when you go check your lines there is going to be a huge catfish on one of them. I even said remember kids nobody is invisible or anonymous on the interwebs. That was a hint but obviously too subtle for the likes of stalkernonymous. Figured why should I do all this work and put all this out there with my government name on it and some jerkwad can just drop in and leave a dump on the floor ? Errr, "on the contrary" , as Ibsen is reported to have uttered with his dying breath.

  10. I'm glad it wasn't some jerk trying to shut off your site. I've become addicted, and hate the thought of going through withdrawal.
Thanks for the time you spend on keeping us up to date and laughing.

  11. Well you have it half right. It was some jerk who still thinks if you sign in as anonymous that nobody can find you. As I mentioned earlier IPs are very easy to find if you care enough and I really care. Since I mentioned that he has disappeared like the chickenshit I Knew he was.
