Which Side Are You On Mr. Obama ?

In case you missed it the man dubbed Reformer in Chief by the hedge fund managers over at Dumbocrats for Ed Reform, aka, President  Barack Obama, has spoken out on the Chicago Teacher's Strike. In as many words, of course, and by way of his public bullhorn, Jay Carney, the President has bravely and convincingly stated he has No Opinion on this issue.

In case you missed it again let's repeat : President Obama has NO OPINION on a teacher strike provoked by one of his main fundraisers and his former Chief of Staff, Rahm Emanuel, the current Mayor of Chicago. The bold faced cowardice of this non statement sounds more like something we'd expect to hear coming out of The Grand Old Prevaricators over at Camp Romney. But listen carefully here Democrats in Doubt. Romney and his yarn spinning yuppy sidekick Ryan have both come down is FULL SUPPORT of Rahm Emanuel's War on Teachers. As well they should - an attack on unionized teachers goes hand in hand with their larger agenda of union busting and defunding public schools, social programs and pretty much anything that fails to trouser more funds for their all ready obscenely wealthy base. So wouldn't we tend to think if these two are supporting Emanuel's heavy handed treatment of Chicago Teachers, the natural response from allegedly union friendly teacher loving Democrats would be the opposite?

Seems the only real question here is the one I posed the other day : Who Are These Democrats and Why Would I vote for any of them?

He's flat on his face waiting to be "serviced" by the dolts with all the bucks.

  2. Well, as you know, I won't be voting for him. The people of this USA will get what they deserve. There is no difference between the two parties in the big picture. Yeah, sure, one of them supports a woman's right to choose (for now) and supports gays getting married (it is the very chic, in thing right now to support the gays), but in reality, in the big picture there is no difference. They work for the same people. Their kids don't and never will go to public schools. They don't have to punch a clock (or sign in with a pencil in a teacher mail room) and never will. They are all about big business and banks. I don't know how they live with themselves. I'm disgusted that the BTF is supporting and encouraging us to vote for Sean Ryan--a tool for Sam Hoyt. How could they? It is similar to NYSUT and AFT encouraging us to vote for Obama (and sending out our hard earned dues through buttons that say Teachers for Obama). Obama works for Wall St. and this will never change. He and his wife are owned by big business, as is the whole democratic party.

  3. It still makes a difference if you need to terminate a pregnancy, or you're gay and wish to marry.
This election matters. If you think it doesn't watch and see what happens if Romney is elected.
BTW Sean Ryan and his wife believe more than most around here in the sanctity of a signed union contract, and make every attempt to support The BTF.

  4. Thanks for your comments anonymous. I dont agree that these are really potential situations we will face but I did address them including Ryan's union chops in today's post.
